From application to wiring harness design
The engineers of StekkerSnel support various types of projects. StekkerSnel produces wiring harnesses based on ready-made wiring diagrams as well as designs and produces wiring harnesses from scratch.
When designing “from scratch,” our engineers shine their experienced creative light on the possibilities. Even at this early stage, quality and reliability are the focus. Thus, even in the design phase, thought is given to testing the wiring harness before its first use. After all, this is an exciting moment: The wiring harness as the “aorta” brings your project to life. To prevent damage, it must of course be done right the first time. StekkerSnel therefore tests all supplied wiring harnesses with wiring harness testers or customized ‘Final Inspection Stations’. Testing in house is also possible. StekkerSnel supplies customized wiring harness testers to measure wiring harnesses on location before first use.
In the design phase, StekkerSnel pays close attention to the selection of components, cable routing, bracketry assembly and the associated cutting and typesetting or milling parts required. All this with the entire process of validation, quality assurance and testing in mind. At all times, the risk of short circuits and connection problems is eliminated.
The entire quality process is traceable for later validation of the product. This includes the reporting and analysis tests performed by PlugSnel before the first use of the wiring harness. The test report with test results substantiates the reliability of the wiring harness. Moreover, with such a report any problems can be quickly detected later.
